It needed a bangla date picker to know about what happened on that day in the history of Bengal. We are working on a very exciting project called ponjika (soon to be available on ) where we have a lot of information related to Bengali Life and Culture and other aspects of life. I had a hard time finding a single library which does a single thing and that is - convert an English Date to a corresponding Bangla Calender Date.
I am surprised by the lack of Language and Date related support in Bangla Language in the web community.
